Victim of a scam?

Keep your money safe

If you have shared your bank details, money has gone missing from your bank account, or you have transferred money to a scammer:

Report the incident

As soon as you lose money or are blackmailed, we recommend that you report the incident to the police. You can file a report online or at your local police station.

You can also report the incident to safeonweb or an authorised body: click here for the list

Stop the scam

Forward suspicious messages to suspicious@safeonweb.be

Do you need someone to talk to?

If you fall victim to online scams, you may feel ashamed. However, there is absolutely no need for that. It can happen to anyone. By talking about it with friends and family, you can get things off your chest and help them avoid falling into the same trap.

You can contact the CAW or Tele-Onthaal with your questions and for a listening ear (NL)
