Beware: fake emails with the subject line “You must update your login details”

This week, we received more than 3,000 reports of a fake email asking people to update their username or login details in order to access their bank accounts.

  • Be wary of this type of email.
  • Do not click on any links in suspicious messages.
  • Do not reply to such emails.
  • Do not provide any contact details.
  • Do not open any attachments.
  • Do not download any apps if asked or prompted to do so.
  • You can forward fraudulent emails to suspicious@safeonweb.be.
